ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES (Sales, Account Management, Marketing & PR)

Overview
As an account executive your primary responsibility is to build relationships and secure advertisers for our magazine. This means you will initiate contact, have strong follow up skills and show the benefits of advertising in an exciting publication. You need to plan your time accordingly to make phone calls, office visits and manage your accounts. In addition you will help to plan events to attract new advertisers and subscribers to our publication. Making our magazine a frontrunner in the eyes of advertisers is important. All of the marketing material has been created including our website, business cards, flyers, brochures, ad kits and more. This is to facilitate your position, strengthen our brand and make your efforts seamless.

Responsibilities

1. Cold calling is part of the game, you will be introducing Make Me Up Magazine to many people you don’t know.
2.Connect to decision makers who will ultimately want to be included in our publication.
3. Stay organized.
4. Make appointments daily.
5. Follow up with phone calls, thank you notes, flyers and other marketing material provided.
6. Manage existing accounts.
7. Maintain an account database.
8. Submit updated lead & account data base to Make Me Up Magazine on a weekly basis.
9. Provide marketing recommendations to help us improve
10. Help plan events to promote the magazine
11. Participate in events that help promote the magazine
